How do I enroll my child in your childcare services?

To enroll your child, please contact us to schedule an initial consultation. During the consultation, we will discuss your childcare needs, schedule, and complete the necessary enrollment paperwork.

What are the fees for your childcare services?

Our fees vary depending on the type of care required:

• Part-Time Care: $25 per hour/per family plus the IRS mileage reimbursement rate for all transportation services unless a vehicle is provided.

• Full-Time Care: $25 per hour/per family plus the IRS mileage reimbursement rate for all transportation services unless a vehicle is provided.

• Occasional Care: $25 per hour/per family plus the IRS mileage reimbursement rate for all transportation services unless a vehicle is provided.

• Overnight Care: $25 per hour while children are awake (all waking hours) and a $75 flat rate while children are asleep. The hourly rate goes back into effect if the child wakes up more than two times during the night.

• Travel Care: $25 per hour/per family plus the IRS mileage reimbursement rate for all transportation services unless a vehicle is provided. All incidentals are covered by the family, including but not limited to travel expenses, all working hours, travel time, meals, room and board, and transportation.

• Other Custom Care: Rates for Other Custom Care vary and are determined on a case-by-case basis depending on, but not limited to, the situation, job responsibilities, and specific circumstances.

How do I make payments for your services?

Payments are due at the end of service and can be made through our website. The applicable taxes, including the Texas state tax rate, will be added to the invoice.

*Please note that you pay for the total hours booked and any additional time over the agreed-upon hours of service. For example, if you book 4 hours of childcare but require an additional hour of service, you will be charged for the 4 booked hours plus the extra hour at the applicable rate. Conversely, if you book 4 hours of childcare but arrive back earlier, you will still be charged for the full 4 booked hours.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

You may cancel services by providing a 72-hour written notice to avoid any cancellation fees. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 75% of the total original hours booked will apply. If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total original hours booked will apply. The provider reserves the right to review and apply the cancellation policy on a case-by-case basis. We will refund any prepaid fees for services not rendered due to cancellation by Hearts of Love.

How do you handle emergencies?

In case of an emergency, we will contact you immediately. If we cannot reach you, we are authorized to seek medical treatment for your child and will not be held liable for any costs or damages arising from such actions.

What are the responsibilities of the parents/guardians?

As a parent/guardian, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information regarding your child's health, allergies, and special needs.

• Supplying necessary items for your child's care, such as diapers, formula, snacks, and medications.

• Notifying us of any changes to your child's routine, schedule, or care needs.

• Informing us of any special occasions that may impact childcare arrangements.

We prioritize the safety and well-being of all children in our care. Our nannies are trained in CPR and first aid, and we adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures. We maintain open communication with parents to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
